The abbey has the largest monastery library in the world and is called the “eighth wonder of the world” by some.

The park has many great views. You will see the Gesäuse Mountains (from 490 m to 2369 m high) and the beautiful Enns River valley. The cliffs look like from a fantasy movie. There are also many hiking trails. Some are easy, others are hard. You can also try rafting on the river if you want something more exciting.
How to Get There
You can go from Vienna to Admont by train in around 3 hours. Sometimes there is a direct train on weekends. From there, a bus takes you to the park. You don’t need a car.
